Worship takes place in Zion’s Sanctuary, built in 1893. Beautifully detailed stained glass and hand-crafted oak panels combine to create a quiet space apart from the bustle of downtown Kitchener.
Worship at Zion is a time of coming together to
reconnect with the sacred, to grow as persons and as Christians, to have our
views challenged and our minds opened to God’s possibilities around us.
Music,
from Prelude to Postlude, sets the tone for the service of Worship, and thus
plays a large role in the life of our church. Supported by our newly-
refurbished Hallman pipe organ, and led by the Chancel Choir, the congregation
enjoys hymns and psalms from Voices United, the United Church hymnal.
Zion also benefits from performances by the Hand Bell Choir and guest soloists and musicians.
